A well-made remake. Nenjuku Needhi is an official remake of the Article 15 Hindi movie. If you ask whether Nenjuku Needhi created the same impact that was created by Article 15, I will say absolutely Yes. It delivered the same essence as Article 15 did. This movie is based on the complex caste system in our country, even though there are laws, one can’t avoid discrimination. The story tells how a cop breaks the barriers to solve a caste-related crime, by trusting his country’s Law.
This movie neither copy-pasted its original version nor over-changed. We should really appreciate Arunraja Kamaraj it’s a difficult job to remake a successful movie. Arunraja Kamaraj’s Nenjukku Neethi is a clean and green film that sticks to what must be done and delivers a top-quality end product, just like its original. visually brilliant with Dinesh Krishnan’s superb visuals adding to the flavor of the film and The aesthetics of the film go one step higher with Dhibu Ninan Thomas’ music. Udhaynidhi Stalin delivers a convincing and intense performance as Vijayaraghavan.
‘If all are equal, then, who will be the king? The one who thinks all are equal’ – Similar to this dialogue in the film, Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Nenjukku Needhi is powerful, hard-hitting, and thought-provoking.
